How to Choose High Speed Servo Feeder

The high speed servo feeder is widely used in motor lamination, EI lamination, small washer, metal chain manufacturing fields. There are four high speed servo feeders that may meet your needs.

1. Basic high speed servo feeder – the speed can reach up to 200spm. It is driven by servo motor and controlled by PLC with high speed model. It is mechanical release.

2. Intermediate high speed servo feeder – the speed can be more than 300spm. It is driven by servo motor and controlled by controller. And also mechanical release.

3. Advanced high speed servo feeder – the speed can reach up to 500spm. It is driven by high quality servo motor and controlled by high quality motion controller. It is released by servo motor.

4. Long feeding pitch high speed servo feeder – When the feeding pitch is more than 500mm and the feeding is fast and the control loop is big and feeding precision requirement is strict, it is suitable to use this kind of high speed servo feeder. It is equipped with encode feedback system to improve precision and motion controller. However, there should be a pit between straightener and servo feeder in order to make a big loop.
To choose the suitable high speed servo feeder depends on your speed requirements and budgets. In a word, the feeding speed is higher, the cost is higher.
